The Performance Monitoring Sub-Committee met on 8th June and endorsed two projects (Wind Turbines and National Museums Liverpool). It was stated that changes are being made to N+2 (decommitment) across Europe - which means the pressure to spend by the end of each year is less intense. It was explained that reported outputs and results are currently very low or zero, but the EPE ERDF Secretariat were confident these would pick up shortly as projects began to deliver. There was a presentation on ERDF and Housing and the indicative allocations for non-Merseyside bids were endorsed. At the end of the meeting it was mentioned that the ERDF bidding process would change from the beginning of July. The next meeting will be 15th July.
