Unfortunately the Skills Pledge Plus support events arranged by VOLA which were detailed in MNE's December newsletter have been cancelled.

Instead a number of events have been arranged for February. These events will look in more detail at the Skills Pledge Plus training bursary.

The sessions will include an overview of the Skills Pledge, case studies from Third Sector organisations that have gone through the process and successfully accessed training through the bursary and some activities based around developing training plans and thinking about organisational needs.

There will also be a Skills Adviser from Business Link on hand to answer any questions about the Skills Pledge process.

Skills Pledge Plus workshops will be taking place across Merseyside at the following venues:

2nd February—Deafness Resource Centre, St Helens

10th February—SING Plus, Seaforth

16th February—Kensington Life Bank, Liverpool

18th February—The Lauries Centre, Birkenhead

24th February—KUC, Kirkby
